A loan helped to buy some sheep for fattening.

01_Ndiassanekn Group's story

This banc villageois, in place since May 2016, is comprised of these three courageous women who live in the same village. They are united by kinship, by neighbourliness and by friendship. They have paid back many loans with success. Their main activities are business and animal raising.

Madame Yacine, 40 years old, is the leader, seated on the extreme right of the photo with a raised hand. She is married and the mother of 6 children of whom 2 are boys and all are in school.

Madame Yacine fattens sheep. She buys the sheep in the daily market and works from home. She can rely on 6 years of experience in the sector.

With this new loan she is going to buy 10 sheep and some animal feed. She is going to raise them and resell them at the end of 3 or 4 months and is hoping for good profits. She has not had any great difficulty selling her sheep. The profits will be used to add to savings in the banc villageois and to sustain her family.
