Nancy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase more ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked and rice kala to sell.
Nancy is 50 years old. She is a widow with 8 children, five of whom are in school and all live at home. Nancy deals in a business selling cooked food and rice kala (puff, puff). She has been managing her sales for 30 years now without any problems. She started to sell with her own little savings. She sells 6 days a week. She asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia, KIVA Field partner. The loan will be used to purchase more ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked and rice kala to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because sales are profitable and she is proud of her business because it sends her children to school. Nancy wants to become a big business woman within the future. She is very grateful to BRAC and KIVA for their support. She wishes to say thanks.
