Reyna Del Rosario's story

Reyna is a 43-year-old woman, married, and the mother of 5 children who are the drive to continue growing each day in the harvest of vegetables. She has been working in this business for over 5 years, generating good results since, with the earnings from selling the vegetables, she has gotten her children ahead. She considers herself to be the fundamental pillar of her family.

With the hope of getting ahead with her vegetable harvest, she asked for a loan from MiCrédito, with the support of Kiva, to be able to purchase vegetables, wheat, bean and sesame seeds, and also ingredients to sell Nicaraguan tamales such as potatoes, meat, corn, and cheese. In the not-too-distant future, she wants to sell her product to wholesalers for better income.
