Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

Nerlith is 33-years old. She has two children, who are fifteen and eleven years old. Nerlith lives with children and her husband.

For more than seven years, Nerlith has earned her living raising and selling cattle. She also sells milk, cheese and chickens. And she and her husband grow cacao.

At this time, Nerlith and her family are requesting a loan to purchase cattle. She wants to invest in raising the cattle so she can later sell them and offer her customers a better product. With her extra earnings, Nerlith wants to fix up her house.

Nerlith considers herself to be a hard-working, determined woman who has a great desire to get ahead. She currently belongs to the "Mujeres Emprendedoras" (Enterprising Women) communal bank, which is made up of nine members. Nerlith is the leader of the communal bank. They are in their sixth lending cycle and feel very happy to be progressing and getting ahead for their families.
