Juana De La Cruz's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy sweets, cookies, and snacks so that she can offer more variety to her customers.

Juana De La Cruz's story

Juana notes that she has a partner who lives overseas. She lives with her two daughters, ages 12 and 10. Her daughters depend economically on her. Juana runs a business selling candies and snacks. She runs it from her home, but during the school year she also runs it out of a booth at the school. She works from 7am to 5pm and she learned the work by trial and error. She is asking for a loan in order to buy sweets, cookies, and snacks, etc. in order to have a better variety of options for sale. Through this investment Juana will be able to increase her inventory and thereby serve her customers each day.

Juana comments that her dream is to be able to open a more formal storefront where she can offer a wider variety of products in order to meet the wide range of interests of her customers.
