A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase sales of organic milk and income from breeding livestock.

Kunduz's story

Kunduz is 31 years old, married, and has a daughter and a son. She has a higher education and works as a teacher in a local school. As a person she is hardworking, ambitious, and enterprising. She knows how to run a farming business and is able to invest funds where necessary. Since 2014, she has been engaged in animal husbandry as a supplementary source of income for her family. Thanks to her persistent hard work and responsible approach to the business, she has managed to expand her farm to have two cows, 14 sheep, and two horses. There is also a 2.0-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows alfalfa.

In order to further develop her farm, Kunduz has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to purchase dairy cows in order to increase her sales of organic milk and income from breeding livestock. Kunduz intends to use the funds from the loan to further develop her farm.
