Damira's story

Damira is 62 years old, widowed, and has two children. She has a secondary education. She knows how to run a farming business and is able to invest funds where necessary. Since 1994, she has been engaged in animal husbandry for her family's main source of income. Thanks to her persistent hard work, at present her farm has six cows and a horse. There is also a 2.4-hectare plot of land where she grows alfalfa and potatoes.

In order to further develop her farm, Damira has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 203,000 som (KGS) to purchase livestock in order to increase her income from breeding livestock. Damira intends to use the funds from the loan to further develop her farm and improve her family's financial well-being.
