Oscar Andres's story

Oscar, age 32, has four years' experience selling eggs. He is filled with strength, determined to meet his goals so that his child will be proud of him, and to continue offering what is necessary for [his child] to continue studying and have a professional career. Oscar has been both father and mother for the child, and is pleased to have the support of his family.

Oscar has decided on financing from Kiva-MiCrédito to buy Purina feed, vitamins, containers for water, and feed for his hens, in order to keep the birds well cared-for, so that daily egg production does not decline. In the near future, Oscar intends to convert his small business into a very compact poultry farm. He will be able to acquire a vehicle and be able to distribute his merchandise to grocery stores and the market.
