A loan helped to build a household latrine to improve their sanitation and personal hygiene.

Khom's story

Khom is 41 years old and a married woman who has three grown children. She runs an agriculture business growing rice and has been doing this for more than 10 years. With her earnings, Khom is able to pay for food and cover other costs of living. She has her own plot of land located not far from her house.

As the family's needs are increasing, every day she works very hard to ensure that she will have an excellent harvest and can generate a higher income. She gets assists from her husband to support the family's expenses by her husband working as a construction worker.

Due to the shortage of her finances, Khom has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 1,000,000 to build a household latrine to improve their sanitation and personal hygiene. With this loan support, she can provide her members with a safe latrine for use at home and be able to help her family members improve their sanitation and personal hygiene.

Khom sends thanks to all lenders in advance for giving their funds to help support a poor fellow like her.
