Remgius' Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer for the cultivation of maize.

Remgius' Group's story

Remgius, pictured above, has been a farmer for more than 20 years, and is now proud to represent his group of 11 farmers in Alego District. He is 64 years old, married and has four children.

Remgius likes to think of himself as a very hardworking individual. He has been working alongside One Acre Fund since 2016 and decided to represent his group because he wanted to help more farmers. He says that being part of the One Acre Fund community has meant that he has been able to consistently feed his family. Remgius plans to use the profits from this coming season to send his children to school.

In total, Remgius’ Group will receive inputs to cultivate 9 acres of land. With this loan, the group also will receive three solar lights.
