Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy quality farming inputs, such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers, which she plans to use on her farm to improve her production in 2020.

Rose's story

The majority of people in Kenya have settled in rural areas. Rose (41 years old mom of 4 pictured outside her shop) is a smallholder farmer who lives in a small village in Kitale Kenya. She is a woman with an unending desire to achieve. Rose has been farming for the past few years. Throughout these years, she has gathered much experience and has all the farming techniques at her fingertips.

Rose practices crop farming. With her profits, she has managed to take care of her family's needs and give her children a good education because she believes that education is the only key to success.

Rose is seeking a loan of 50,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) to buy farm inputs such as fertilizers and seeds to improve her crop farm. She wants to take advantage of, and reap more profits from, favorable weather patterns, her village's good road network, good soil and a ready market for crop products.

This loan is a chance at something greater, a chance to pull Rose out of life-threatening poverty. Kindly lend to her!
