Riqueza Group's story

The communal bank "Riqueza" is beginning its second cycle with 15 members. The members all have different businesses like: selling condiments, medicines, fish, sewing materials, small animals, and food. They also proviD. services like carpentry, shoe making, sewing, and embroidery. Señora Marleny is the communal bank's president. Marleny is separated, 32 years old,and has two children. Marleny has a restaurant in a rented space where she works everyday. She has two people who help her. Marleny is also a folkloric singer who puts on different sorts of events and engagements. Her loan will be invested in the purchase of sugar, rice, and oil. Marleny's dreams are to have her own home, to help her kids get ahead, and to make a recording. Each member is applying for a differernt amount of money: 300 soles, 600 soles, 750 soles which makes a total of 10,650 soles.
