Sonja's story

Our journey began with a shared vision, create a space that would help to rebuild and impact the lives of entrepreneurs in the US Virgin Islands. Hurricanes Irma and Maria greatly impacted the lives of individuals and businesses in the US Virgin Islands. Many lost not only their homes and or businesses but also their income. Those who relied on the internet to get work accomplished found themselves unable to complete their tasks at home since reliable internet access and electricity were not quickly restored. Individuals and small business owners began seeking spaces in order to have consistent electricity, access to reliable Wi-Fi and professional meeting spaces. However, these places are difficult to find. As a result, we have opened the first collaborative work space, on the island of St. Thomas where people can connect, collaborate and build community.
