Erika Patricia's story

Four years ago Erika Patricia began a general store business that today has growth potential. She sells merchandise used daily in the home. She takes advantage of each season to offer seasonal merchandise. She needs to stock her business with shoes, school clothing, and student school supplies. That is the reason why she approached Kiva to ask for a loan as her capital isn't sufficient to have the inventory her customers require. Erika works Monday through Sunday, 12 hours daily, with the goal of accomplishing her goals of increasing her income and improving her family's well-being. Her main customers are from the neighborhood where she lives and nearby growing villages as her services are excellent and shoppers return to her store.

With the loan she will buy shoes, school uniforms, paper products, and other items in order to meet the demand of the school season and make the loan investment a success.
