Rosa Erlinda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase raw materials such as rice, cooking oil, beans, etc. so to prepare the food she sells in her stall and to improve the tortilla sales.

Rosa Erlinda's story

Rosa is a single mother and has two children, an 18-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son. Her children depend on her economically. In addition, she states that she has relatives abroad.

Rosa has had as family sources of income managing a food stall and selling tortillas for seven years. At the moment, there are no difficulties in her businesses. She works from Monday to Sunday with a schedule of 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. She learned the tortilla business from her mother.

She has decided to ask for a loan, working capital which will serve her to purchase raw materials such as corn, cooking oil, beans, etc. so to make the food she sells at the stall and to improve the tortilla sales. Through this investment, she expects to manage to keep her business alive.

Her aspiration is to expand her business by opening a new retail space and, so, to be able to incorporate the sale of staple products. In this way, she will grow as a businesswoman and improve her own quality of life and that of her family.
