Teodora Beatriz's story

Teodora is married and has three children. Her husband is a teacher and works at a national school. Two of her children are adults and live with their respective partners in another home.

Teodora lives with her husband and daugther, who is 16 years old. Teodora says she got married over 20 years ago and that for a long time she did not work. However, about a year ago, she had the initiative to open her own business. This way she would be generating economic income to be able to contribute to family expenses and also to be able to be economically independent of her husband.

Teodora's business consists of selling essential products. The seed capital to open it was provided by her husband. The business is located in her home. She works from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

She is requesting a loan to have financial resources that will help her increase her business' inventory. She will purchase candies, snacks, drinks, sausages, sugar, and other necessities to sell.

She believes that the investment will help her greatly to improve her business' capabilities, since she has competition very close by.

Her goal is to support her husband with household expenses and also their children when they need it.
