01_Diamaguene Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheets, bags, and shoes to resell.

01_Diamaguene Group's story

This group of seven women is part of the Banc Villageois that set up in their area in December 2007. They are from the same neighborhood and have good relationships with each other due to solidarity and understanding. Their main occupation is commerce. They have benefited from and repaid more than 10 loans.

Khoudia, the representative, is 39 years old. She is standing on the right of the photo with the raised hand. She is married and the mother of three children, one of whom is a girl. They are all schoolchildren.

Khoudia works selling sheets, bags, and shoes. She works at home and she has more than 20 years of experience in this field. With her new loan she counts on buying 20 women’s bags, 36 pairs of shoes and 50 sheets, which she will resell at a good profit. The quality of her merchandise makes a lot of people always buy from her.

Her profits allow her to build up her savings with the Banc Villageois, to pay her water and electric bills, and to take care of her children’s education.
