Abdoulaye is the man with his hands on the barrel of fuel in the picture. He is a 46-year old Malian farmer who is married and the father of nine children. He is a client in good standing with RMCR.
Abdoulaye is a wholesaler of fuel in his village. He has been running this business for over 15 years. He borrows money to purchase many barrels of gasoline and sells them to retailers in neighboring villages. His profits vary from 50000 to 75000 CFA francs a month.
The profits from his business enable hime to meet his family's needs and improve his business.
Abdoulaye often faces delays in payments from his customers but, despite this, he is able to manage his business successfully. Abdoulaye's hopes for the future are very high, as he would like to have many millions to build a gas station in his village.
