Eunice's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to gain access to cost-efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for crop cultivation for this woman with a good credit history.

Eunice's story

Eunice, a 32-year-old mother of 4, is pictured in her simple house. She is an inspiring mother from Kitale in the Rift Valley province of Kenya, where she lives with her children. She started farming a few years ago to provide for the basic needs of her family.

Eunice has done tremendous work in agribusiness with great passion and enthusiasm. In Kenya, agriculture is one of the most competitive businesses, especially due to the high cost of operations. Such costs include land acquisition and inputs. To meet the high costs, farmers have been forced to borrow from financial institutions, which sometimes impose very complicated procedures in loan distributions.

Eunice is seeking a loan to purchase quality farm inputs. She'll buy inputs such as high-quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers. She is optimistic that this year's harvest will be better than last season. Her income from a dairy business will be used to make initial loan repayments until crops are harvested and sold.
