Seqhaqhabola Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Seqhaqhabola Group's story

Mapaballo is a 34-year-old woman who lives in a two- bedroom house, without access to electricity, with three other family members, including two children.

Mapaballo relies on civil servant and struggles with buying multiple fuel. She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on candles, gas, wood and paraffin, which costs up to LSL 366 per month. She also spends as much as eight hours per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs, like phone charging.

Mapaballo and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel, and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
