Caroline's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm inputs to improve her productivity, leading to increased profits to support her children until they finish school.

Caroline's story

Caroline (pictured in her simple business) is a 30-year-old, single mother with three children who are in school. She is a visionary, hardworking, and focused woman who resides in the Litein area of Kenya.

Caroline has been practicing farming for the past few years. Throughout this time, she has made big strides in life and has been able to provide an education for her children. Her primary sources of income have been milk, crops, and a few small business ventures that help her make ends meet.

Caroline was unable to study for a professional career because of her family’s financial situation. However, she never gave up and has focused her skills into farming. She is very proud of what she does, especially when it comes to milking her cows that produce rich creamy milk. As a result, she is able to support her family.

Caroline also practices crop farming, but she has not been making good profits because of poor farming inputs. She has requested a loan that she will use to buy farm inputs, such as high-quality seeds and good fertilizer, which will greatly improve her crop production. Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques. Using high-quality seeds will assure her of a bumper harvest that will result in more profits.
