Damira's story

Damira is 37 years old and married, with a daughter and a son. She has higher education, and works in a school as a teacher. In her nature she is hardworking, goal-oriented and entrepreneurial. She is well familiar with the technology involved in leading an agricultural business, and is able to invest funds as intended. As an additional source of income for her family, she has been practicing animal husbandry since 2008. Thanks to her steady efforts and responsible approach to business, she has been able to expand her farm to have a cow, 16 sheep and a horse. With the goal of further developing her farm, Damira has turned to Bai Tushum bank for a loan in the amount of 100,000 somoni (KGS). This will be used to purchase dairy cows, with the goal of increasing her sales of organic milk, as well as her income from cattle breeding. Damira plans to invest the profits from the loan into the development of her farm.
