This group is made up of 28 women and belongs to the banc villageois that was created in the locality in December 2010. They live in the same district and they have a good relationship showing mutual solidarity and cooperation. They work mainly in trade. They have enjoyed and repaid 10 loans. Mrs. Rouba is the leader. She is 46 and she is standing on the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is married with five children of whom one is a girl, all the children attend school.
Mrs. Rouba sells fresh fish. She buys her stock wholesale and sells retail at the central market. She has over 10 years experience in this business. With her new loan, she plans to buy one crate of fresh fish that she will resell with a good profit, she will renew this activity daily. Her clientele is loyal and she is doing well.
Her profits enable her to reinforce her savings at the banc villageois, to provide for a little expenditure, and to help her husband pay for the children's school fees.
