A loan helped to buy chicks for poultry farming.

01_Kambengkafoo Group's story

These five brave women from the same village took the opportunity to integrate the banc villageois put in place in the locality in December 2010. They share good social and professional relationships. They have benefitted from several loans which were repaid on time. The representative, Mrs. Anta, is 55 and sitting to the left in the photo. She is a married mother of three.

Mrs. Anta does poultry farming. She stocks up with local suppliers and works at home, where she has a chicken coop. She has 5 years of experience in this sector. She is going to buy 150 chicks and sacks of poultry feed and use a portion to repair her chicken coop. She is not the only person who does this, but she has found her niche. Her profits allow her to take care of her children and increase her savings.
