A loan helped to stock up on used shoes in bulk, which will strengthen her starting capital.

Njiwa Group's story

Mrs. Annie is a Hekima IMF client and presides over the banque villageoise “NJIWA.” She is a 40-year-old married mother of two, both of whom attend school, and her partner is in business.

She sells used shoes, which she started doing 10 years ago with the startup funds from her husband. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, which grew over time. With the new loan, she is going to stock up on used shoes in bulk, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge for her business has to do with the lack of customers.

She would like for her children to go to school. In the end, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to unprofitable business owners. The customers prefer to be with their children in the photo.
