Valleria's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer for the cultivation of maize.

Valleria's Group's story

Valleria, pictured above, has been a farmer for eleven years and is now proud to represent her group of sixteen farmers in Teso District. She is 30 years old, married and has three children.

Valleria likes to think of herself as a very reliable person. She has been working alongside One Acre Fund since 2016 and decided to represent her group because she wanted to help more farmers. She says that being part of the One Acre Fund community has meant that she has had a healthier life due to better nutrition. Valleria plans to use the profits from this coming season to send her children to school.

In total, Valleria’s Group will receive inputs to cultivate eight acres of land. Given that a member of the group will also be purchasing a solar light, with this loan, the group will also receive one solar light.
