Grace's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer for the cultivation of maize, as well as a solar light.

Grace's Group's story

Pictured above is Grace, often described as an extremely trustworthy person. She is 54 years old and, as a group leader, is representing her group of 7 farmers in Teso district, Kenya.

Grace is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund again as this means that she is able to earn enough to feed her family, which is why she decided to join in the first place. Grace says that she is happy to have made that decision because, since she first joined in 2018, she has had a healthier life due to better nutrition, which has improved her day-to-day life significantly. Grace will use the profits from this season to send her children to school.

The group will use this loan to purchase a total of 3 solar lights, as well as seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 2.75 acres.
