Ana Maria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business.

Ana Maria's story

Ana Maria, 43, has a business selling food at a market in the countryside in the Cercat area. She has 2 children who are enrolled in the university, and another who is in school. Ana Maria started selling from her house, and later she installed a sales post in the market which she's had for 5 years. She gets up at 6am and prepares the dishes which she starts to sell from 9am. She sells until 1 or 1:30pm, after which she cleans her business and returns to her house to start to prepare for the next day.

With Ana Maria's first loan, she bought her range and new pots and plates. This enabled her to attract more customers. She states that her customers demand good service and a clean business, otherwise they will go to the competition.

This loan will be used to expand her business. She will use the loan to buy soft drinks for her food stall, so that her business will be preferred by her customers and remain competitive.

Ana Maria's dream is to increase her sales and expand her business by selling soft drinks, having a freezer, and making improvements to her business. This way she can contribute to her children's quality of life by supporting them in their education so that they can become successful.
