Kaliyma's story

Kaliyma is 58 years old, married, and has 4 children. She received a high school education and is a hardworking, goal-oriented, and enterprising person by nature. She has a good understanding of how to run an agricultural business and knows how to use her resources appropriately. Kaliyma has been raising livestock since 1990 in order to provide her family with their primary source of income. As a result of her hard work and her responsible approach to her job, Kaliyma has developed her farm to have 7 cows, 23 sheep, and 2.4 hectares of land where she grows beans and barley. In order to further develop her farm, Kaliyma has turned to Bai-Tushum Bank for a 150,000 KGS loan to buy dairy cows with the goal of increasing her organic milk sales and the income she makes breeding livestock. Kaliyma plans on using the income generated by this loan to further develop her farm and, in the process, repair and expand her barn.
