A loan helped to purchase farm inputs.

Ernesto's story

Ernesto, aged 60, is a good resident of Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija. He is happily married to Divina. They have been blessed with three children, all of whom are still pursuing their studies. Ernesto has been engaged in the farming business for almost 39 years, which involves planting rice grains. Currently, he is managing one hectare of farmland.

According to Ernesto, the business is very helpful to them. In every harvest he earns 15,000 pesos (PHP) as net income from the business. Due to the lack of capital for his business, he decided to borrow from Alalay Sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. by taking out a loan of PHP 35,000. The loan proceeds will be used to purchase farm inputs needed on his farm.
