01_Citeouvriere Group's story

This group consists of 5 women from the Banc Villageois
that was inaugurated locally in May 2009. They live in the same area and share bonds of solidarity and friendship.

Mrs. Woré is the group's representative. In the photo, she is on the right with a hand raised. She is 35 years old, married without children. She sells food products, cosmetics, fabrics and sewing notions. She stocks up at the central market and conducts her sales from her home store. She has 2 years of experience in this sector. She also has a parallel activity selling fish products and palm oil.

Woré will use her loan to buy 40 bottles of body lotion, 10 cartons of soap bars, 10 boxes of sewing thread, jugs of palm oil, and baskets of seafood (shrimp, dried oysters, mollusks, etc.) that she plans to sell for a good profit. She sells for cash or on credit, and she is doing well.

Her profits allow Woré to expand her commercial activities, to manage her expenses, and to save within the Banc Villageois.
