A loan helped to buy a solar lighting system that will improve his family's living conditions.

Marlon's story

Marlon has worked to help support his family since he was very young. He is now 34 years old and he lives with his wife and two children in the community of Yoro, Honduras. He has a small grocery store and he also grows coffee and beans.

Marlon strives every day so that his children have everything they need and have dignified living conditions. Unfortunately there is no electricity in his community, so they must light candles or kerosene for illumination, which is not healthy.

For this reason Marlon is asking Soluz Honduras for a loan to buy a lighting system which will greatly improve his family's living conditions. It will also be a great help for his small grocery store so that he can serve his customers for extended night hours.
