Harriet's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy more clothes for resale.

Harriet's story

Harriet, 43, is a married woman with four children, all of whom attend school. She is a secretary by profession but also sells second-hand clothes in the evening to supplement her income. She says her sales are low because customers come and bounce back without buying due to limited stock that does not accommodate what they want.

She has therefore applied for a loan of 1,500,000 UGX from UGAFODE so that she can stock more clothes to sell. She also has plans to diversify her stock to include clothes for men and kids to widen her market. Harriet is confident that with increased stock her sales will improve.

She appreciates the lenders for the financial support that will boost her business. Her dream is to own a big boutique, which she is working hard to achieve.
