Raykan's story

Raykan is 55 and married with five children. She has a high school education and has been working in animal husbandry since 1989 as the primary source of income for her family. She has a good understanding of the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. Thanks to her hard work she currently has four cows and 12 sheep as well as 0.26 hectares of land where she grows apples and apricots.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Raykan has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 250,000 KGS to buy livestock feed and steers to increase her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm and building a house.
