Julio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped To fertilize and irrigate his bayo (a type of pinto) bean crops.
Julio, 30, lives with his wife and children in Trapiche, a rural district of Olmos, Lambayeque province, located two hours from the city of Chiclayo. He has been a farmer for over 7 years starting as a hired field hand. Through much effort he managed to acquire his own small field where he grows a variety of cereals and grains. He currently grows bayo (a type of pinto) beans which are highly sought-after in the area and welcomed in the marketplace. This crop provides an important source of income for him to support his family so he does his best to have a successful harvest. He planted two weeks ago so fertilizers and irrigation are now needed so that crop yield will be optimal. Julio, therefore, is asking Edpyme Alternativa, for the first time, for a 1000 new sol loan. Julio is a hard-working father who daily gives the best of himself to support his family; his greatest wish is to provide his children with a better education and to improve their quality of life. He is very well-liked in his community and his neighbors consider him trustworthy.
