A loan helped to purchase bull calves to increase her income from cattle breeding.

Gulumkan's story

Gulumkan is 53 years old, married, and she has 5 children. She has a higher education, and she works in a local school as a teacher. She knows the technology of running an agricultural business and is able to use funds appropriately.

As an additional source of income for her family, she has been working with livestock since 1995. Since she got married, she has been raising cattle and selling organic milk. Thanks to her hard work, her farm today has 8 cows, 7 horses, and 20 sheep. In order to further develop her farm, Gulumkan applied to the bank "Bai-Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 250,000 som (KGS) to buy bull calves, with the goal of increasing her earnings from raising cattle.

Gulumkan plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into the further development of her farm and to improve her family's welfare.
