Thalia Bertha's story
Thalia Bertha, 23 years old, started her business selling drinks in her town 2 years ago. She is single and has no children. She was motivated to open this business since her parents, of advanced age and with only one small neighborhood store for family income, could not pay for her studies, and she wanted to study law. Her dream is to be a professional lawyer and to also be able to contribute to the support of her parents, as she has up to now. She will use the loan to buy merchandise, increasing her range of products in order to be able to improve her sales, since there are products that are in demand that she does not have at the moment. With that increase in her working capital, she hopes to be able to satisfy the greater part of her customers’ demand, and little by little improve her situation and allow herself to study for the degree that she longs for.
