Azadakhon's story

Azadakhon, age 44, is married and has 3 children. She has a secondary-school education, and works as a seamstress at home. She knows agricultural techniques and is able to invest money for its intended purpose. She has been raising livestock as a supplemental source of income for her family since 2009. Thanks to her tireless work, her farm now has 14 sheep and a 0.64-hectare plot of land on which she grows watermelon.
In order to further develop her farm, Azadakhon has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of livestock, with the aim of increasing revenue from livestock raising. Azadakhon plans to invest revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm, and to improve her family's standard of living.
