Letcia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy fertilizer for her farm to boost crop production.

Letcia's story

Letcia is a single mother of four, all in school. She is into food crop growing and cattle farming as her main source of income. After attending to her farm, she goes to her grocery store, which she operates to bring in extra income for the family. Letcia works tirelessly to fend for her family, since she is the sole bread winner.

Her farming activities have improved, which she attributes to the funding from Kiva lenders. She has applied for a loan of 5,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy fertilizer for her Irish potato farm. She is optimistic that this will improve her farm yields in terms of quantity and quality, thereby bringing in more returns to ably provide for her children. She will also use part of the loan to restock her grocery store. Letcia sends her gratitude to the funders for the financial support that will improve her farming.
