01_Ngoudiane Group's story

This group, made up of nineteen women, is part of the "Banc Villageois" established in June 2012. They live in the same village and are united by strong links of parenthood and soldarity. They have repaid many loans with success. Their main business is trade.
Ndiolé is 43 and the representative, standing at the far right raising her hand. She is married and is mother of nine children, of which two are girls; four of them go to school.
Ndiolé works fattening up sheep and goats and, at the same time, runs a small business selling food products - she spends her time between the weekly markets and her home in the village. She has more than 10 years experience in the sector.
Her loan will be used to buy 4 goats, 3 sheep, some bags of food for fattening them up, 2 packets of stock, 2kg of chilli pepper and 2 kgs of garlic which she will resell in her local area. Her husband helps her with the animal sales.
The profits will enable her to help with the school fees, to support her husband with the daily expenses, to boost her savings and to buy other sheep and goats to increase her livestock.
