Engineer, NY, Kenya / Education

Miriam's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped a single mom to pay tuition fees for her children to enable them to have an uninterrupted education for a better future.

Miriam's story

Hard work is a highlight of the character of 40-year-old Miriam, a single mom of four school-going children! She is a rural smallholder farmer who was not lucky enough to be admitted to any higher-learning institution to learn agriculture. However, through gathered experience based on curiosity and her natural abilities, she has come to emerge as one of the most respected farmers in her village, which is in the Engineer region of Kenya. Dairy farming is close to her heart, and every day she wakes up to milk her cow. This makes Miriam very proud.

Miriam is seeking a loan to pay the tuition fees for her children, who are in school. As the first semester begins this month, she would like to clear the tuition balance that her children have, so that they cannot be sent away from school for unpaid fees. Miriam believes in education, because she knows that it is the key to success. She awaits your kindness.
