Batumike Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 30 bags of cement in bulk to strengthen her initial capital.

Batumike Group's story

Jeannette is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and president of the "Batumike" banque villageoise. She is married, firty-three years old and mother of six children, including four who have finished school and two who are currently attending. Her partner is a painter.

She sells cement in a warehouse. She started this business twenty years ago with start-up funds she received from her husband. Later, she became involved with Hekima's program to support her business, which she has been developing gradually. With this new loan, she will stock up on thirty bags of cement, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to unpaid debts.

She would like her children to be able to attend school and to feed her family. She would like to conclude by thanking Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to non-bankable business owners.
