Emily's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to gain access to cost-efficient hybrid fertilizer for crop cultivation for this woman with a good credit history.

Emily's story

Emily (27-year-old mom of one) is the true definition of a hard worker and an ever-smiling, happy mother. She is a mixed farmer in Kapcherop, growing different crops and dairy farming.

She produces milk and crops for commercial purposes as opposed to many rural farmers who produce for subsistence. Emily also grows and sells maize.

These commercial activities place her in a better position to engage in other agricultural businesses, which she does. Hard work and self-determination are what Emily uses in her life to keep her progressing.

Emily is seeking a 50,000 KES loan to buy fertilizers to improve her farm yields and profits to ensure her child graduates from school. With the farm inputs, she will be able to plant different varieties of crops.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business. With your help, Emily will be able to pay the high costs of the farm inputs necessary for expansion.

A significant portion of the profits will be plowed back into the business to fuel growth as she sets a good foundation for her child. She really hopes for your help and contribution.

Emily is thankful in advance.
