Teresa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as high-quality seeds and fertilizers, to improve productivity on her farm and, as a resourceful mum, support her children.

Teresa's story

Teresa (a 28-year-old mom of three pictured in her simple house) is a forward-looking mum who is practical and resourceful.

Challenged by unemployment, she started farming many years ago. It is through her perseverance and courage that her children can have a respectable life.

Teresa is a hardworking farmer who has been farming for years. She has gained so much experience through these years of farming.

Teresa practices mixed farming; that is, she grows crops and keeps animals. Through these activities, she has been able to earn a decent and honest income.

Although Teresa has been making profits through farming, not everything has been easy for this humble and industrious mother. Her farm has not been producing an optimal harvest because of the lack of fertilizer and good seeds and the presence of pests and diseases.

That is why Teresa is seeking a loan of 60,000 KES to be able to buy farm inputs. Through the loan, Teresa will be on her way to a bumper harvest and this will translate into more profits and cash.

Through the use of good seeds and fertilizer, Teresa will reap more, which will assure her of comfortably taking care of her family and repaying the loan.

Teresa’s plan is to be able to increase her farming and to be able to save more money so that she can buy more land for farming.

Please support this smallholder farmer who, today, needs you to be able to get ahead and pursue her dreams.
