Rosalba Luzeli's story
Rosalba is a 32 year old entrepreneur who has always fought to provide for her children together with her husband who is a day laborer. She lives in the Higuerón community with her husband and four children who still depend on them. Things became very hard economically since there was no work due to the migratory wave. The daily wage they were paid as day laborers was reduced to the degree of almost working for nothing, but she never let this get her down and found a way to work and continue providing an education for her children. Rosalba raises and sells dairy cattle. This is her main source of income to support her household. Rosalba asks for a loan with which she can buy cows, salt, food, vitamins, balanced feed and molasses. This way her animals will be very well cared for and fed when they are taken for sale.
