A loan helped a single mother to purchase farm tools and equipment, such as sprayers and tree trimmers, to expand her crop production and improve her living conditions.

Linah's story

As a single mother, Linah, 40 years old and a mom of five, is tasked with the responsibilities of her children, including the provision of food, shelter, and clothing. The key breadwinner of her family, which includes her aging parents and her children, she farms a small plot of land in the green, lush hills of Kapcherop, in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. On her farm, she has been keeping dairy cows and nurturing the growth of various crops.

The main challenge that Linah has often complained of is the high cost of farming inputs in her area. She has acquired this loan so that she can buy quality farming inputs such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizer, which she plans to use on her farm. With these inputs, Linah will be assured of a good harvest, which will consequently reflect in her pocket.

Please support Linah with a loan to help her break the cycle of poverty in her family.
