Teresa's story

Teresa is a modest and an enterprising 33-year-old married woman. She has a general store of her own, which she has been running for many years. Her store is located in an excellent spot that is easy to find and many people come to buy her goods every day.

Teresa has experience and a very good understanding of her general store. Running her business has made her more independent because, allowing her to be responsible for herself and also help support her family's daily income.

Teresa would like a loan of $500 through Kiva's field partner KIF to improve her store. She plans to use this loan to buy an additional supply of goods such as biscuits, noodles, sugar, coffee and many other things to sell at her store. As the result of her investment, Teresa hopes to expand the size of her business in the future. She wishes to thank lenders for the opportunity.
