Joe's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase an ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Joe's story

Joe is a 56 year old man who lives in a bricked house with 15 other family members including 5 children. Joe is a business man but struggles with cost of cooking fuels. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on charcoal, which costs up to UGX 50000 per month. He also spends as much as 1 hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Joe Francis bought the ACE 1 cook-stove to help him and his family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered.
