A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Nuriya's story

The 45-year-old Nuriya is a widow with a daughter and three sons. She has a secondary education and works for a non-governmental foundation. She is an industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising person who is well versed in agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. To supplement the family income, she has been raising livestock since 2005. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of 15 cows and a 7.03-hectare plot of land on which she grows beans and perennial grasses.

In order to develop her business further, Nuriya has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 250,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her cattle-breeding income. Nuriya is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward the ongoing development of her farm and the improvement of her family's well-being.
