Mirgul's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase her headcount and sales of organic milk.

Mirgul's story

Mirgul, who is seen in the photograph with her youngest son, is successfully repaying her prior loan and is very grateful to Kiva and to all who helped her with that financing. Mirgul’s farm presently consists of five cows, 20 sheep, a horse, and a 0.92-hectare plot of land on which she grows potatoes.

To further develop her business, Mirgul has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 60,000 som (KGS) to purchase a dairy cow. This will increase her headcount and sales of organic milk. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into expanding her farm, while putting some of it aside to give her children a better future.
